The Parador is located in an Arab Palace dating from 1302, built by Muhammad III and rebuilt by Yusuf I (1334-1354), and Muhammad V (1354-59). The Catholic Kings transformed it into a Franciscan convent. They were temporarily buried at the Convent's Church. Located in the Alhambra grounds, the hotel has magnificent views of the gardens, the Arab palaces and the Albaicin quarters.

The hotel was created to host the architects and technical team who built the 1929 Universal Exhibition, in a residential area of Seville. Beautiful palace belonging to the Lasso de la Vega family. Built in the 16th century with traces dating from the 15th and 17th centuries. It is furnished in a classical, elegant and exquisite style. Nevertheless, the best aspect of the hotel is feeling you are staying at a palace.

Parador Castillo De Santa Catalina ****

The Parador has been built at the top of the Cerro de Santa Catalina, next to the remains of the Arab Fortress built by the King Alhama, the King who started the construction of the Alhambra. In 1246 it was conquered by King Ferdinand III the Saint who built a chapel and a convent. The Parador has a magnificient view of the city of Jaén and the olive fields that surround it.
