Our booking policy: The transatlantic air services of the scheduled carrier(s) mentioned in this or other specific brochure(s)

Our booking requirements: The transatlantic air services of the scheduled carrier(s) mentioned in this or other specific brochure(s), booked through Kompas Express, must be used to take advantage of the programs therein. You may contact Kompas Express through your travel agent.

 

Instant-Booking policy: each booking request for any of the programs offered by Kompas Express has to be forwarded to its overseas correspondent(s) for supplier confirmation. Kompas Express requires a valid payment guarantee to forward such request. The amount of the payment guarantee is determined by date of the request. If this date is more than one calendar month prior the date of departure, the required payment guarantee will be $350 per person. If not, the required payment guarantee will be equivalent to the total value of the package. If the reply from the overseas correspondent(s) confirms the requested arrangements, the amount guaranteed becomes non-refundable and any balance becomes due immediately.  In the event the reply does not confirm the requested arrangements, an alternative will be suggested and a deadline for acceptance or refusal set. If you choose to accept the alternative, the amount originally guaranteed becomes non-refundable and any balance becomes due immediately, if you choose to refuse the alternative we will refund the amount charged less an administrative charge of $25 to cover communication and other expenses. Any increases in taxes, fuel or security surcharges, which occur after payment is your responsibility.

 

Availability: Kompas Express’ programs are based on limited allotments of seats on flights and limited allotments of rooms at hotels. They are sold on ‘first come-first served’ basis. Once the allotments are sold out, prices can be subject to tariff supplements.

 

Cancellation charges:

Note: Cancellation charges apply always and cannot be waived.

Written notice of cancellation is required and the following scale of charges applies to the date of the notice’s receipt:

 

31 days or more from departure date: Loss of $350 per person.

Between 30 days and 8 days from departure date: Loss equivalent to 50% of the total cost

7 days or less from departure date:  No refund

 

An administrative service charge of $50 will be levied in addition to the above

 

Refunds will be processed only upon receipt of originally issued documents. No refunds or adjustments will be made for portions of the trip not taken or services not used.
